While Jessica Simpson's "Major Movie Star" may have opened up No. 1 in Russia earlier this month, it's not enjoying the same level of success. First, it's getting renamed. Instead of "Major Movie Star", it will now be known as "Private Valentine: Blonde and Dangerous". It will also never be shown on the big screen, and is headed straight to DVD.

The movie is about a ditzy blonde movie star who enlists in the army to earn money to pay her bills. It is due to hit stores on February 3.

Simpson's last movie, "Blonde Ambition", was also a flop. It showed in just eight Texas theaters, earning about $1,300 before heading to DVD.
