DVD Review: 3 DVD Set of Pixar's WALL-E

The three disc DVD set featuring the movie WALL-E proves once again that Pixar has a superior ability to raise the bar on animation excellence. Disc One is the WALL-E movie which is sure to be a hit with robot fans and outer space enthusiasts. The story is clever and original with suspenseful chase scenes and humor mixed in. WALL-E is a lonely robot who finds himself caught up in the quest to reinhabit Earth which is shown as a barren big city with lifeless skyscrapers.

The action begins when WALL-E meets another robot, Eve, and they set out for outer space using stunning visual effects and Pixar's attention to detail. Disc one also contains plentiful bonus features including two short films, director commentary and deleted scenes. Disc Two contains entertainment options such as story book activities, learning more about the Pixar story, Wall E treasures and trinkets and an inside look at BnL. Disc 3 is provided to put into your PC or Mac to create a Disney File digital copy.

The three discs come in a package that is colorful, visually appealing and very informative, listing in detail what the scenes are and what bonus features are included. However, I had some difficulty removing and replacing the discs so overall I felt the packaging could be improved. The movie and the material included are excellent so don't let the packaging stop you from enjoying this Pixar triumph.
