Despite being protected by the Secret Service, Barbara Bush, daughter of the President, managed to have her purse snatched in Argentina. Barbara Bush was dining in a Buenos Aires restaurant at the time. It hasn't been the best of weeks for Presidential detail. Among the mishaps are a tire that went flat on Airforce 1, a motorcycle wreck in Honolulu, the director of the president's travel office was mugged while in Honolulu, and a fight broke out in Argentina involving one of the secret service members.
