I must admit that I had heard a lot about the Motorola ROKR phones from previous generations but lost track of the developments. T-Mobile recently sent a test model for us to try out and I was astounded and how futuristic and neat the ROKR E8 was. Priced at $149.99 for a two year contract, this will ideal for someone who wants a stylish music phone.

The first thing you will notice when you pick up the ROKR E8 is how sturdy the device feels. The weight is just about perfect in the hands and when you glance at it looks so futuristic that you won't want to take your eyes away. Then when you turn it on, you get a nice surprise as the once plain black keys illuminate into numbers. When you open the music player, those numbers disappear making the display only feature the Mp3 players features.

The gadget from Motorola features just about everything you'd expect in a music phone with a 2 megapixal camera, Hi-Fi ring tone capability, stereo bluetooth, picture messaging, speaker phone, fm radio, and an expandable memory slot that will let you add more files and data. I was a skeptic of the ROKR E8 until I tried it out and now just wish I had more time to play with the device from Motorola.
