Aspiring Veterinarians Have Two Game Offerings from Legacy Interactive

Do you have a son or daughter who dreams about being Veterinarian when they grow up? If you answered "yes" there are two releases by Legacy Interactive that you will want to keep in mind when you venture to the malls this holiday season. Pet Pals Animal Doctor and Zoo Vet Endangered Animals are both rated E for Everyone and will offer a gaming experience which will both be fun and educational for the person on your list who may want to explore a field helping animals when they grow up.

The first game we tested Pet Pals Animal Doctor. Using the Wiimote, the player will perform surgeries that simulate real life veterinary situations. Players will treat animals on 30 different cases ranging from minor ailments such as sunburn to life threatening problems like tumors and snakebites. The animated 3D animals that the gamer/pet lover in your household will be treating are household animals such as cats, dogs, parrots, and other more exotic animals. The new release will be a great primer to see how the game player responds to situations but be advised that there is a little blood involved so the game isn't suited for the squeamish. The new Wii game, which was brought the the market just this month, is priced right at $29.99 and their is hardly a better reward in a game than saving a precious animal.

The next game from Legacy Interactive that will make a perfect present for the zoo-goer is Zoo Vet Endangred Animals. The game is available on Nintendo DS and is sure to educate while entertain. You will give check-ups, treat injuries of polar bears, lions, and elephants. The 30 medical cases that gamers are asked to solve were all written by real life vets that work in the field. Watching your children play this game will make you realize why Zoo Vet Endangred Animals was awarded the 2008 Parents Choice Gold Winner recently. The price also comes in at a reasonable $29.99.
