Weller And Girlfriend Found Passed Out On The Street And Threatened With Arrest

You wouldn't think of Paul Weller, who rose to fame 3 decades ago as the ringleader of the popular mod group The Jam , as one who couldn't handle his alcohol. The legendary songwriter and guitarist went on a binge drinking spree with his girlfriend who is more than two decades his junior this weekend. The booze got the best of both of them as they were so drunk that they passed out on the streets and were nearly thrown in jail by police.

UK's gossip rag The Sun has an embarrassing picture of the Modfather sprawled out on the street with his young lover and videos have been posted on YouTube of his crazy night out.

While it may be a tad bit embarrassing, you can tell that Weller is still full fledged rock star at the age of 50.

Here is Weller performing stone drunk at the bar before his near arrest. The guitarist says he never heard of the rock artist who has sold millions of records worldwide. Weller would probably like to erase this performance out of his catalog as he is barley coherent when singing a cover of Jimmy Hendrix.
