Lily Allen Says Cocaine Isn't That Bad
Some people are just bad drug users.
Lily Allen, a British singer, better not be planning on coming to the U.S. anytime soon because the Department of Homeland Security may not be too pleased with her. No, she didn't threaten to bomb any cities and she hasn't converted to Islam as far as we know. Instead, she talked about one of the world's inherent evils - drugs - in a more positive light than we're used to over here.
While Americans starve and lose their jobs, the war on drugs rages on. The messages that Lily have go against everything that our government believes in. Drugs are evil they say, but Lily, however, suggests that they aren't all that bad:
“The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true. I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalize it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs," said Lily.
The argument makes perfect sense to me.

All of these articles are linked to misquotes of fabricated statements.Miranda Sawyer made up the line I know lots of people that take cocaine three times a week, she coupled that with the line I'll never say I won't do drugs again, and that was a fabricated statement from, Paper Magazine, that was questioned by Perez Hilton, and what the hell kind credibility does that have. Lily Allen had to sober up her game but not because she was drunk, but because that's all people could write about. Is she a good person that has bad things written about her? Or is she a bad person that good people write about? Ask yourself that question! I pick the one that say's she's no angel, but she's alright by me!

Not sure what you mean by "fabricated statement." As the editor of Paper magazine I can assure you that she did indeed make that statement. Whether she meant it or not, I can't really say.
I'm not a fan of cocaine,
I'm not a fan of cocaine, but I agree with the fact that some people are just bad drug users while others can be completely functional with there drug of choice. I believe this to be especially true with Marijuana. I believe it less dangerous then alcohol or tobacco...both of which is legal. I've never heard of anyone dying from an overdose. It takes a responsible adult to be able to appreciate anything without making others suffer for their decisions. Some people can't do that and so the rest of us get punished. Some people are bad at doing drugs.

Way to over-dramatize everything. homeland security, homeland sesmerity. Is it remotely possible for someone to carry on their life minus the scrutiny?
