Ohio Star Running Back Beanie Wells Heading to the NFL
Ohio State Buckeyes standout Chris "Beanie" Wells will forgo his senior season and head to the NFL. In his 3 years with the team he ran for the fourth most yards in the schools history amassing 3,382 yards. Wells, who starred at Akron Garfield High School, missed three games this season due to injuries and one wonders if NFL scouts will penalize him because of that on draft day. What is known, however, when Beanie does suit up to play there are few who have ever possessed the combination of speed and power that have played the game. Do you think that the Cleveland Browns will show interest in the area born star if he slips to number 5 considering the age of current starting running back Jamal Lewis?
