3,000 Will Assemble in Front of FBI Building During Inaugural Parade Calling for the Arrest of President Bush

US Park Service Grants Permit for Inaugural Parade Demonstration

ArrestBush2009.com has successfully secured a permit which will allow them to go forth with plans to hold a "Yes We Can Arrest Bush" event to be held in front of the FBI Building during the Inaugural Parade on January 20, 2009. The group plans to fill the permitted area with attendees holding "ARREST BUSH" signs, demanding the arrest of outgoing President Bush for crimes against humanity and numerous constitutional violations.

ArrestBush2009.com calls for the arrest of George W. Bush for:

  • "Instigating a war against a sovereign nation that posed no threat, wanton attacks on civilian populations, use of torture, and violations of the U.N. Charter."
  • "Lying to Congress and the American people about the reasons for invading Iraq, for the deaths of US service members and Iraqi civilians, and for the abuse of the United States Constitution."

The permit granted - US Park Service permit # 09-18 - allows for 3,000 participants in the event. There is an "ARREST BUSH" sign that can be downloaded from their website, which will also serve as a free inaugural parade ticket which is required to enter the area the event will be held in.

ArrestBush2009.com requests: "Please join us as we do our duty as citizens and bring justice to the United States of America." The group's sole goal is "to arrest George W. Bush for perpetrating crimes of the very gravest of matters concerning war and peace."
