Lego Artists Recreate Barack Obama Inauguration Scene

Barack Obama's inauguration as President isn't until Tuesday, but Legoland in California has already unveiled a Lego brick creation of what we can expect the scene to look like. The inauguration scene is complete with intriciate details including a model White House, motorcade, and even lines to the porta-a-potties.

Visitors to Legoland will see Obama and his entire family recreated in the famous Danish bricks, while crowds of mini-Lego people surround. Notable on-lookers include outgoing President George W. Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and even Oprah and Aretha Franklin. Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia, are shown standing proudly behind their father as he takes the oath of office on the steps of the Capitol. Thousands of Lego bricks were used to create more than one thousand mini figures.
