It is very important to understand that if any Ball was to be attended it should be the hero's of our conuntry. The brave elete few that sacrificed much more then most people understand. I spent 20 years in the Navy and myself as well as thousands sacrifice so much in so many ways and we didn't get the decerations this group of vets proudly display. This group should have been the primary ball to attend and the heck with the others. So, understand, it was no mistake by not being there, we just know where the new pres heart and priorties are. I wonder what the priority of our new C&C is going to be. The security of our country, the military, just what do we have to look forward to. If it wasn't for the Medal of honor barers and the Men and Wemen that trained, worked and faught next to them, where would we be today.

Ya know something people, maybe i have no right to say or judge b/c i don't vote, wheather it's right or wronge, it's my choice... But i am sooooooooo sick and tired of everyone talking down and shit to our president or presidents!!! No ONE ever has anything nice to say about them or for that matter any of them.. So give it up!!!! No one realizes what a president has to go through that night and the next 4 years!! So maybe he did snub it and maybe he didn't, however, im sure he knew of all the Balls going on, and if he missed it accidently, well things happen, if he did it on purpose, shame on him.. But regardless what the reason is.. That is something he will have to live with... I think everyone should give the man a chance and let him do his job, wheather we agree or not. He is human.. Even if he would have only went to 1(one) ball, it should have been the medal of HONOR ball to honor our troops because without our unselfish troops he couldn't have ran for president, let alone been elected. A friend of mine personally knows one of the Medal of Honor recipients that attended the ball and he confirmed that this is true. In fact I found this article when trying to verify the claims made by people who were actually there. As the article states, this is the first time in over 50 years that a President did not attend this ball to honor these heroes. He intentionally skipped this ball but of course had his own military ball to be surrounded by those who will back him. This man has poor character and this is just another example of the outrageously huge mistake this country made by voting him into office. I wonder when people will start claiming that they never voted for him. I'm already seeing people rip off their Obama/Biden bumper stickers.
