The Strokes Have Started Working on a New Album

The New Music Express is reporting that New York City rockers The Strokes have started work on their first album. The new album will be the fourth by the band and their first since 2006's "First Impressions of Earth".

The Strokes were considered rock n roll saviors when they arrived on the scene in 2001 and all of their releases are solid records. The band has been involved in a number of side projects recently making many wonder when, and if, a new album would arrive.
