Bonnie-Gate: Hilary Duff Fires Insult Back at Faye Dunaway

Faye Dunaway has been openly critical of the selection of Hilary Duff in the remake of 1967's "Bonnie and Clyde". Dunaway , who starred alongside Warren Beatty, in the landmark film said of the former teen idol being cast as the new age Bonnie:

"Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?"

The remark must have gotten back to Duff who fired back:

"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is," talking about Dunaway, "I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."

Round 1 to Hilary 10-9.

Comments

Faye is just a jelous has been that should've kept her mouth shut. There was no call for her to start this fued.

Way to fire back Hilary. Faye Dunaway sounds like a dirty old bird and the verbal smackdown was well deserved!

ALRIGHT Hillary! That comment right there just made you a star. Don't take any guff off no one. You are one of the most talented I have ever seen. Can't wait to see the movie.

good for you, Hillary.

Well...Hillary Duff is not really an actress so I'm sure Faye WAS a little surprised to hear of the selection. I think Hillary
could have been a little more mature & gracious about it instead of attacking her personally.

hillary Doof is just an upstart with a big ego and little acting talent

Come on Faye is right she is not an actress and she sings bad too. Her sister Hailey is a better actress. Hillary may be a nice girl but really she is not very talented.
