David Beckham Wants Out of America

It looks like David Beckham's attempt to take soccer mainstream in America is all but over. England's famous player, who had signed a $50 Million contract with the LA Galaxy two years ago that was met with worldwide headlines, wants to stay in England to play with AC Milan who currently have him on loan from the Major League Soccer team.
"I have expressed my desire now to stay in Milan and hopefully the clubs can come to some agreement,"
"I have not spoken to the Galaxy, but someone has from my side and it is literally down to them to come to some sort of agreement and hopefully they will."
Most likely, LA would want to rid itself of the enormous contract that he signed as the headlines quickly faded and Americans once again failed to embrace soccer as a major professional sport. Hopefully he his wife Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice of Spice Girl fame, takes to the news well. It was rumoured that she was the once who wanted to move America in the first place but maybe she just grew tired of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes company and wanted to head back to England.

Don't take it personal fellow Americans he is certainly not tired of America it is the MLS and the American soccer he is tired of. It is way below his level and it was very naive of him to think that he could help it at all single handed.
The guy is still a great player he rushed into coming to America too early he should have come here when he was ready to retire.
The MLS and American soccer "is way below his level"? Not at all. Evidenced by his lack of impact while on the MLS , especially in regard to his impact in Europe. His injuries haven't helped. I suspect the real reason is that he has not been embraced here as he is in Europe and elsewhere, especially off the field. As far as having "every right to be (sic) get out of MLS," that's dependent on the details of his contract. I'm glad he came to the US, and like other Americans, would rather see him play more at his peak than when he's fading off into the sunset.
See ya later, pretty boy!
MLS should not have invested on him and rather invest on younger players and help them grow. But MLS's goal at this point seems to be to make fast cash.
