I hate it how everyone who was never interested in the Twilight Saga all the sudden become interested after the success of the first movie, which was not supposed to do that good according to everyone... It's so stupid.. The only reason these people want in on it, is because they want to cash in...

What role could she possible play in the new movie? I just like many other Twilight fans can't wait until the new movie comes out. If Madonna were in it I am pretty sure that there would be a lot of people who would have a sour taste in their mouth when they would go to see the movie. Why do people like Madonna always feel like they can just add themselves to anything that is up and coming. I mean I have nothing against her I just know why she thinks she is the center of the world. Twilight is for everyone, it is a story that has touched people of all ages. I think we all know that Madonna wants to be in this because she wants to feel like the center of the universe. I really hope that she doesn't get added to the movie.

Madonna has a totally wrong image and reputation for the Twilight series, just like Cher and Michael Jackson wouldn't fit either. Now I can understand why Catherine Hardwicke walked away from the project. Any producer of New Moon who thinks Madonna fits is way out of touch with why the Twilight series is beloved and why the movie was a "financial" success, and that's really sad.

When Bella and Edward are in the waiting room waiting for nightfall and the group comes through heading into the chamber to the Virtouli (sp). The older lady who is freaking out and wondering what is happening is the perfect part for Madonna!! That way it is a quick part the woman is gonna die anyway, and we know we won't see her again in another sequel!!!!!!!!

You people are morons. There is no way to make this movie any worse than it is. It made me die on the inside when they used Radiohead on the soundtrack of the last movie, and the fact they're using Madonna disappoints me, too. This movie AND the novels are a disgrace to anything and everything.

OKay, i have seen two comments out of like 20 or 30 that actually are okay with madonna in the movie. to me the first movie was disappionting but the cast was great! they need a good script, maybe some voice overs from Bella, a good soundtrack, and a good cast. They will not, and could not ever do that with madonna or vanessa or any other people just trying to make some money. Stephenie Meyer wrote some of the best books ever and she deserves to have a great movie too. Im sure they dont even know what twilight is. They lost a whole lot of fans with the last movie, think about what will happen if they put madoona in! No madonna for the movie, or soundtrack!

This is ridiculous. If every person has to give their friends a role in a movie they're producing, we will never again see a quality film. If Madonna can bring something spectacular to the set, then I'm all for it. However, from the "acting" I've seen in her past performances, she should stay out of it.

Madonna is a hasbeen and i only liked her in the 80's and that's where she needs to stay. She couldn't possibly play in this film. The 'new' director said he would do his absolute best for please all twilight fans ect.. and this is clearly not gonna make us happy. And if the franchise had a clue they would try there best to get Robert Pattinson to sing and write at least one song for New Moon. Also why dont they just get Ryan Seacrest instead of Madonna to play in New Moon he could be one of the italian vampires or something like that. So please please NO Madonna!! I don't think Madonna should be on the soundtrack for New Moon, it should be like the Twilight soundtrack which had cool indie music on it. It would be better for more unknown bands which have interesting music to be discovered by being on the soundtrack, not 80's pop hasbeen Madonna! However when I first heard that she was rumoured to be in New Moon I was at first like WHAT THE HELL, way too ruin it, but thinking about it the only role she could play that I can think of is Aro's wife. I just hope that she doesn't overdo it and try to make her performance in the movie too over the top, which I can imagine her doing. And I can't wait for that stupid cow Rachelle Lefevre, who plays Victoria to be killed off in the movie, what a talentless c*nt.
