"Sex and the City" Movie Sequel to Hit Theaters March 2010

It took them years to get the entire cast of HBO's hit drama "Sex and the City" to agree to and film the movie version of the series, but the film's sequel won't take nearly as long to hit the silver screen. A release date for the sequel has finally been set.

Warner Bros. and New Line have decided to release "Sex and the City 2" on March 28, 2010. The first film opened on May 28, 2009 and brought in more tha $412.6 million at box offices worldwide.

Reprising his role as director-writer for the film will be Michael Patrick King. The film's four leading ladies - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattral, and Cynthia Nixon - will also all be back.

The first film ended with the wedding of Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big. Some are beginning to speculate if the second film will focus on their foray into parenthood.
