Michael Jackson Eyes Up London Mansion for His Summer Stay
Selling out more shows than I can count on my two hands in literally just minutes, Michael Jackson is clearly still loved in London, despite the controversy that has surrounded his life over the past decade. After such a display of affection for the so-called "King of Pop", Jackson has decided to forgo living out of a hotel for six months and will instead take up residence in a three-story mansion in a sheltered street in the upmarket area of Chislehurst in Bromley.
According to the Daily Mail, Jackson has shelled out £1 million to rent the mansion, where he will live from just before his London residency begins in July, until his final shows in February 2010.
The Bromley Times indicates that Jackson's new abode includes a music room, indoor swimming pool, private wood, and an underground cinema. Built in the 1800's, the house also has quarters for 20 staff and has a state-of-the-art CCTV.
Jackson is expected to move in ahead of his 50-date sold-out residency at the O2 Arena in London.

you don't make any sense how can he be the so -called King of Pop? Who is better, who has achieved more? who is more influential? who can " sell out more shows than I can count on my two hands in literally just minutes" YOU said that so to say he is the so called King of Pop makes you look really stupid which you are for writing that you are just jealous because your life means nothing and Michael is loved by millions and has more talent than anybody in the world and you can't bring him down.

Have to agree about the "so called King Of Pop". He just sold out 50...FIFTY... concerts in no time!!! So to still insist he is a "so called" King of Pop, is kind of funny...and does make the author look a bit sad. I do appreciate that the article was mostly positive...I commend the author on that. But when do all the reporters let go of the "so called"..."self proclaimed"...etc. stuff. If you don't want to call him the King of Pop....then don't. Just call him "the artist, Michael Jackson", etc. But the "so called" etc. stuff is getting a bit old. I appreciate that the author was gracious enough to call MJ by his name instead of "W...J...." though. Thank you for that. Michael Jackson is an amazing artist. No other artist, past or present, comes close to his level of TALENT. I love his music and he is MAGIC on stage and I can't wait to see him perform again this summer!!! went to school in chistlehurst and live just up the road, seems odd that out of everywhere is london he has chosen Chistlehurst, especially as there is the not-so-desirable st mary cray at the top of the hill!
I just read another page saying that hes not living there anymore cause he is 'scared of being haunted'. Not that I believe theres an ounce of truth in that but, maybe he isnt staying there any more....any one know any more on this?

The real phrase should be "Self Proclaimed King of Pop"... that's how it started. We've quite a bit of an ego here that's being fed by irrational fans. Just remember that during his last public performance in England, he couldn't hit the notes. Also, the London oddsmakers are saying he won't finish the gig.
