Leon Hall Facing DUI; Bengals Break 1-Year Streak in Remaining Arrest Free

The Cincinnati Bengals were doing pretty good there for about a year, with no criminal arrests. If you recall, 2006 was a record year for the team, with 10 players arrested in 11 seperate incidents.Cornerback Leon Hall, however, has broken the team's arrest-free streak, becoming the first player in nearly a year to have been arrested on a criminal charge. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that Hall was arrested in southwest Ohio and charged with drunk driving.
According to a police report, a state trooper stopped Hall, 24, in his 2007 Mercedes just after 3am on Sunday in Clermont County, which is just west of Cincinnati. The report also says that Hall acknowledged that he had been drinking and took a breathalyzer test, which showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.149. Ohio's legal limit is 0.08.
Hall is scheduled to be arraigned in Clermont County Municipal Court on Friday.
The Bengals have declined to comment until the matter is resolved.
Hall was drafted by the Bengals in the first round (18th overall) in the 2007 NFL draft.
