Reese Witherspoon "Deeply Embarrassed" Over Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On Sunday, actress Reese Witherspoon issued an apology for her behavior during the arrest of her husband, Jim Toth, on Friday on DUI charges. In a statement, Witherspoon said:

"Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior."

The apology follows the leaking of Witherspoon and Toth's mugshots amid news that pair had been arrested and briefly jailed on Friday morning in Atlanta.

Police reportedly spotted the couple's silver Ford Fusion weaving in and out of lanes, and pulled them over. While officers were speaking to Toth, Witherspoon reportedly stuck her head out of the window and said that she did not believe that the arresting officer was really a cop. After stating that she was a U.S. citizen and insisting that she was allowed to "stand on American ground", Witherspoon quipped "Do you know my name?" The officer responded "No, I don't need to know your name", to which Witherspoon responded " You're about to find out who I am... You are going to be on national news."

"@MarkZinni huh?" Lauer wrote. "Always tried to be nice Mark. Sorry you didn't think so. Hope you're doing well. Matt."

NBC Executives Confirm Jimmy Fallon Will Replace Jay Leno; Want to Move Show Back to New York

Remember that rumor from earlier this year that said Jay Leno would be replaced on The Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon? Well now it looks like that plan of action is definitely a go, and Leno is said to not be taking the news very well.

Leno has already gone on the offensive. On the same day that the New York Times confirmed Fallon as Leno's replacement, Leno quipped to his audience:

"According to several reports, scientists say they are getting closer and closer to being able to do Jurassic Park-style cloning of extinct species. Imagine that. Things that were once thought to be extinct could be brought back from the dead. So there’s hope for NBC. It could turn around."

He's also already referred to NBC execs as "snakes" live on air, after having heard the rumors that he's to be replaced by Fallon, 38.

Insiders at NBC say that they've decided that "Late Night" host Fallon will take over "The Tonight Show" as early as next February or, at the latest, by fall 2014. One senior network executive even commented:

"There is no way on earth that this is not going to happen."

Sources Claim Casey Anthony is Telling Close Friends That She's Pregnant

Casey Anthony, the woman who was infamously found not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee during a trial in July 2011, is allegedly telling close friends that she is pregnant with another child, and is excited to have the chance to "prove" that she is a good mother after having been acquitted of killing her first daughter, Caylee.

The National Enquirer published a story purporting Anthony's pregnancy, which is based off the claims of multiple, unidentified source who say that she is pregnant.

One insider told the magazine:

"She just said that she fell in love with a very wealthy man while she's been in hiding. Casey said he's taking care of her financially and he's so obsessed with her that he'll do anything for her."

Anthony has been in hiding since the July 2011 trial in which she was found not guilty. She only made an appearance in public last week to declare bankruptcy.

Insiders say that Anthony is bragging to close friends that she is more than one month pregnant already. A source added:

"Her eyes lit up when she told me that she was expecting, but she wouldn't tell me who the baby's father is."
