George W. Bush's former Chief of Staff, Karl Rove, will reportedly be joining the "fair and balanced" FOX News channel as a contributor. Rove, who resigned from his White House position in August 2007, will join the network as a contributor.

Our first glimpse of Karl Rove on the network as a member of the staff is likely to come on Super Tuesday (February 5), when it is believed he will be used for on-going elections coverage throughout the day.

In joining FOX News, Rove, who almost exclusively worked as a political consultant for Republicans prior to his stint in the White House, does nothing to dispel accusations of the network's conservative bias.

Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital early this morning and is undergoing psychiatric evaluation. Spears can be held for 72 hours by mental health professionals under a rule known as 5150 if professionals believe she is "considered to be a danger to themselves or to others".

Sam Lufti told People Magazine, "She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong."

Spears family had been trying for weeks to get the troubled star back into care of a doctor.

A recent t-shirt purchase on the part of Katie Holmes, wife of Tom Cruise, has fueled rumors that the actress is pregnant with the couple's second child. The t-shirt in question was bought for daughter Suri, and says "Big Sister" on the front.

Katie visited the Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor with 21-month-old daughter Suri, where she splurged on over $2000 worth of baby clothes.

According to a source, "Katie ordered loads of cute girlie spring dresses for Suri. But she also bought a pink t-shirt which said 'Big Sister' and two matching romper suits, one which said 'Little Sister', and one which said 'Little Brother'."

Could it be fraternal twins? O, perhaps, more likely, she doesn't yet know the sex of the baby and is buying one of each just to make sure.

It was just this past December that Katie, 29, revealed her desire to have more children with her husband Tom, 45. And it was recently reported that she wants to give birth to their next child before she turns 30 in December.

One source said, "She had it all figured out. She would shoot her new movie and then get pregnant. She was hoping to have the baby by the end of the year, go back to work next spring and have another film out by the end of 2009."

According to Gwen Stefani's father-in-law, the singer and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child. The couple currently has one son, Kingston, who will turn two in May, and are said to be thrilled about the impending addition to their family.

Douglas Rossdale, Gavin's father, told People Magazine, "They and the whole family are delighted. We are very much looking forward to another grandchild."

Stefani, 38, is rumored to be around 13 weeks pregnant. The two were married in September 2002.

Gwen confessed in an interview last year that she was eager to have more children, saying, "I can't wait to get pregnant again. It's so fun and consuming and romantic."

Rossdale, 40, has a 17-year-old daughter (Daisy) from a previous relationship.

Born as Destiny Hope Cyrus, the star of Disney's hit show "Hannah Montana" is best known by her beloved fans as "Miley". But now she has officially and legally changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus, to reflect her nickname as well as honor her father.

The name Miley stems from a childhood nickname, where her family always called her "Smiley." Soon, that became "Miley", which obviously stuck and is what most of us know her by. Miley chose the new middle name "Ray" in honor of her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Bette Midler, the 62 year old singer, actress and comdedian, has announced that she plans on retiring when her 30 month stint at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas comes to an end.

Midler told Parade Magazine when asked about retirement she said:

"I feel like I'm going out with a bang. It's something my husband and I have talked about. I certainly don't want to die in harness. I'm not one of those people."

But the 4 time Grammy winner says she can still perform with the best of them as she added:

“I think so. I must say, my high kick is just as high as it ever was, thanks to tai chi.”

Angelina Jolie choice of a loose fitting dress at the SAG awards have sparked more rumors that the star actress is pregnant. Star magazine first reported that Brad Pitt's wife was expecting and now the rumors have reached a fever pitch.
