May 2nd: "Iron Man"
Another comic legend gets to show if he has what it takes to make it on the big screen this summer. "Iron Man" has been a comic book icon for over 4 decades for Marvel Comics. The film edition stars Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. Stark has been captured by terrorists in Afghanistan. Needless to say, the terrorists are messing with the wrong guy. Here is the preview of the film hitting theaters next weekend:
2009 Mazda6 to Hit Dealerships This Summer

Mazda has announced that the 2009 Mazda6 will arrive in dealerships this summer. Mazda has big expectations for the redesigned sports sedan. So just how big of a car is this to the future of Mazda?
"This is the most important new vehicle Mazda has launched in a decade," said Jim O'Sullivan, president and CEO, MNAO, from Denver, where the car was unveiled to Mazda dealers a day earlier at the company's North American Dealer Meeting. "The midsize sedan segment -- where Mazda6 competes -- is a real battleground, with some of the best vehicles in the industry going toe-to-toe for sales. This new Mazda6 was designed and engineered specifically for the North American market -- the third Mazda in a row to be so -- and will take on the very best cars from Asia, Europe and the U.S."

Phil Collins Quits Music Business

If you missed Genesis reunion tour last year you likely missed your last time to see Phil Collins. The legend told the Times of London that he is done touring and releasing albums. The 57 year old did say he will continue to write, however, as he doesn't know how to stop his creative side from coming out.
Collins, along with the band Genesis that he famously fronted after Peter Gabriel left the band, sold more than 100 Million albums during his career. The Genesis reunion tour, which nearly saw Gabriel join his former band mates after a 3 decade hiatus and some bad blood, was welcomed with positive reviews worldwide. Many longtime fans had hoped that there was more to be had but it looks like Collins has pulled the plug on that from happening.

Columbus Based Wendy's Bought Out by Atlanta Based Arby's

Where's the beef? It is now in Atlanta. Wendy's, which was founded and based in Ohio, has been acquired by the parent company of Arby's. The Atlanta based chain had been trying to obtain control of the Dublin, Ohio, based chain for over a year. $2.34 billion of Triarc Companies Inc was the number that Wendy's board agreed to today.
Pam Thomas Farber, the daughter of founder Dave Thomas whose passing seemed to have doomed the 3rd largest hamburger chains fortunes, expressed her displeasure with the takeover by Triarc Companies Inc.
"It's a very sad day for Wendy's, and our family. We just didn't think this would be the outcome"
Wendy's stock price has plummeted over the year and billionaire Nelson Peltz, who is the largest shareholder of Triarc, has made it his goal to takeover the weakened company. Following a poor quarter he finally won over the board who agreed to $26.78 for the company who had traded over $40 a share just a year ago.
