Nails:

For your nails on both your hands and your feet, we recommend three brands in a variety of price ranges.

For affordable nail color that dries in a flash, we recommend NYC Color's "In a New York Color Minute" quick dry nail polish. It literally dries in just about a minute. New shades you'll want to pick up this summer include 234B Wall Street, 203B East Village, 224B Times Square, 226B Madison Avenue, and 246B Park Avenue.

Another option for great looking, fast-drying nails is Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri fast dry nail color. This summer, you'll want to pick out bright, bold colors. We recommend 12 Blue Streak, 13 Racey Rouge, 10 Lightening, 11 Sonic Boom, and 15 Presto Pink.

If you're looking to stick with some of the more standard pinks and purples, you might want to check out Borghese line up of quality nail lacquer. It's not fast dry, but if you have the time it turns out great. Our favorite shades for this summer are B424 Giardini Heather F, B419 Peonia Blossom F, B423 Piccola Tulip C, B422 Argento Mist F, B421 Campanula Bellflower F, and B420 Primula Primrose F.

Spanx Will Expand into Full Clothing Line

Female celebrities often given credit to their hidden super underwear for making their rear ends look good and their stomach's smooth and flat under their unforgiving couture gowns. And more often than not, it's Spanx they claim to wear. Created by founder Sara Blakely, Spanx has just launched a line of prettier shapewear - Haute Contour - and has revealed plans to expand the brand into a full clothing line.

According to Blakely, her company has been designing prototypes in "about three categories" of apparel for "up to two years". Other than that, however, she didn't reveal much about what the products might be, or even when they'll be out on store racks.

Now You Can Smell Like the King

Burger King - Not LeBron James - Releases New Burger Fragrance for Men

No longer do you have to actually work at Burger King to smell like a delicious flame broiled burger. Priced at just $3.99 per bottle, the King has bottled the scent and is now selling it online.

Dubbed "Flame", the fragrance is available for purchase at www.flamemeetsdesire.com. If you're in New York City, you can also pick them up at Ricky's.

The men's fragrance is being touted as a sensual scent with a hint of flame broiled meat, inspired by their signature Whopper.

BK is believed to be the first fast-food chain to crossover into the world of fragrances.

Hold on for Dear Life: Skyscraper Heels Reach Dizzying New Heights

The trend for ridiculously high heels has reached an all-time, with the announcement this week that Christian Louboutin is designing a spike-stiletto with an 8-inch heel. For the past few seasons, Louboutin lovers have been tottering around in the designer's 7-inch heels.

One can't help but wonder how much higher the shoes can get. They're obviously not made for walking any great distance, no further than the car to the red carpet, and even that seems like it'd be a struggle. A friend to hold on to for dear life as you walk is a definite must for these shoes.

What goes up, must come down, and I predict the super high heel craze has reached its peak and will soon go down.

Louis Vuitton Launches Two Patented Diamond Cuts

What recession? While much of the population is considering soup and grilled cheese for dinner for the forseable future, the well-off have these exciting new baubles to look forward to: Louis Vuitton has launched two new patented diamond cuts. One is a rounded-cut flower diamond, and the other is a pointed-cut flower diamond.

The LV diamonds have between 61 and 77 facets, and are set into various pieces of jewelry, including a necklace with 108 carats of diamonds retailing at $4 million. The collection has been named "Les Ardentes", which translate as "teh blazing."

Just as the LV bags and accessories have been cheapened by the shoddy knock-offs that are available on every street corner and every mall kiosk, you can be sure that somewhere, someone's already designing a look-a-like cubic zirconia version.

Female Police Officers in Germany Get Bulletproof Bras

Female police officers in Germany have been issued new bulletproof bras which will act as a second line of defense if they are shot on duty. The bras are designed to be worn underneath a bulletproof vest in order to better absorb the impact of gunshots.

More than 3,000 officers are being encouraged to swap their regular lingerie to the new bulletproof bras.

The creator of the bulletproof bra, Carmen Kibat, is with the police herself, serving as an adviser on equal opportunities for the Bundespolizei, Germany's federal police force. She says that she thought normal bras posed a safety risk, in that the impact of a bullet can push the metal and plastic parts of the bra into an officer's body, causing significant injury.
