Pajama Jeans Are Now Available for Men

Was the man in your life jealous of your oh-so-comfortable Pajama Jeans, pants that look like jeans but feel like you're wearing pajamas? Well now he can get himself a pair too! Okay, so they're not the official "Pajama Jeans" brand, but they're the same idea.

Online retailer Lakeside Collection is selling pajama jeans for men in two different styles. One is a acid washed style with fake holes and rips, while the other are saggy include the fake boxer shorts hanging out.

It's a clever idea for pajamas, but I doubt we'll be seeing men sporting this out in public the same way we've seen women wearing their Pajama Jeans. Also, if they want them to look more authentic, Lakeside Collection should take a cue from Pajama Jeans and put the drawstrings on the inside of the pants, rather than on the outside.

The knit pants go for $12.95, but they're all sold out so if you were hoping to give them as a Christmas gift, it'll have to be a belated one. LC does, however, have in stock their version of Pajama Jeans knock-offs.

Product Review: ULTA Appletini Shower Smoothie

My all-time favorite candle was an green apple scented one in a glass jar from Bath & Body Works that I got about 10 years ago. Most of the apple scented products I've come across are distinctively more spiced than crisp, and I haven't found anything similarly scented since then. That is, until I got a whiff of ULTA's Appletini 3-in-1 Shower Smoothie.

The Shower Smoothie can be used as a shampoo, a foaming body wash, or a bubble bath, which makes it the ultimate versatile bath product. Whether you want to take a bath or a shower, you can use the same product.

I tested this out last night, and found that it left my skin feeling extra smooth and moisturized and a light scent remained even after washing off all the suds. $16 might seem like a bite in the wallet if you're used to buying the $5 variety body washes and bubble baths at your local grocer or retail store like Target, but it comes in a large 24oz pump bottle and honestly, you can tell it's a superior product. Best of all, it's Made in the U.S.A.

The ULTA Shower Smoothie would make a great holiday gift for your female friends, family and co-workers.

I can't wait to try out all the other flavors!

Everyone's favorite designer-style-on-a-budget chain retail shop H&M announced on Thursday that it is working with cult shoe label Swedish Hasbeens to bring its unique wooden-soled style to the rest of the world. Three styles of wooden-soled clogs made exclusivel for H&M will be available in 150 H&M stores worldwide beginning on April 20th.

The particular shoes designed for H&M were inspired by the traditional Swedish styles of the 1970's, and use handcrafted and environmentally friendly materials.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's head of design, commented:

“I love the genuine feeling you get from Hasbeens, from the wood and the leather, and also how they take something traditional and Swedish and make it contemporary and modern. These Hasbeens for H&M fit perfectly with the ’70s bohemian look that’s so important this coming season.”

Emy Blixt, founder and designer of Swedish Hasbeens, also said:

“We have a strong belief in making better shoes for a better world. We want to make fashion more fun, creative and friendly to both the environment and people. We have loved designing for H&M! Stella McCartney to Launch Her Own Kids Line

Stella McCartney has designed two collections for GapKids in the past, but as for her own collection, she's never had one for children. That's all about to change as McCartney announced plans to expand her fashion empire by launching a new kids collection.

The line will launch this November, and will be available in sizes 0 to 12 years. Prices range from $25 to $195, and will also be available worldwide on her website as well as in Stella McCartney stores.

Speaking of her collection, McCartney said:

“As a brand with many working parents on the team, I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kid’s collection that was timeless and affordable.”

Lanvin to Team Up with H&M Bringing Designer Fashion to the Masses

Us working stiffs might actually have a shot at owning a designer piece of clothing from the fashionable Paris label, without having to sell an arm or a leg. It's now rumored that Lanvin and H&M will announce within the next week that they're collaborating to bring Lanvin clothes to both men and women at H&M shops.

H&M has also been posting 23-second highly stylized black and white videos on both Facebook and YouTube, featuring quotes from a mystery design coming through the mouths of men and women. At first it was thought that Tomas Maier of Bottega Venetta and Carolina Herrera were the mystery designs, but fashion bible WWD quips that:

"While the camera never lingers on the faces long enough for recognition in the clips, the voice-over of designer musings, while electronically altered, are unmistakable Elbaz-isms."

It looks like WWD was spot-on in their guess. Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M, confirmed that the collection of menswear and womenswear will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores globally. H&M will officially unveil the collection on November 2.

Speaking of the collaboration with H&M, Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin said:

“I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,”

With Alexander McQueen(sadly) out of the picture, Lanvin is now the coolest kid on the block in the fashion world and everyone will be dying to get a piece (or ten, or twenty) from the collection. Expect it to sell out fast.
