Gisele Set to Become World's First Billionaire Supermodel as Her Lingerie Line Goes Global

Gisele Bündchen is already the world's richest model, but her wealth is about to hit new heights. As her lingerie line goes global, Gisele is set to become the world's first billionaire model.

The Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimates range was launched last May and has already proved popular in Latin America, Portugal, Japan and Israel. Now, further expansion is expected.

With her various product endorsements and business ventures, Gisel earned a total of $45 million USD last year. She's now on track to become the first billionaire supermodel.

Model Bar Refaeli, 26, is said to be following in Gisele's footsteps and is also preparing to launch her own collection of underwear next month.

Kardashians Accused of Using Sweatshop Labor to Make Clothing Line

The negative press continues for the Kardashian klan, who after being accused of orchestrating Kim's "fake" marriage to Kris Humphries, are now linked to sweatshop labor. Star Magazine claims that several items sold under the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and Kim Kardashian's ShoeDazzle line are made in regions of China where factory workers endure horrific working conditions.

Human rights investigators went undercover at several factories linked to Kardashian products. While the Kardashians raked in $65 million last year, workers at the factories making their products are paid as little as $1 per hour. Some of the workers were also found to be as young as 16-years-old.

So far, the Kardashians have not issued an official response to the report that their products are made in sweatshops.

Jay-Z's now infamous Occupy Wall Street inspired line of t-shirts has now been pulled from Rocawear's website, just days after the multimillionaire was criticized for capitalizing on the movement without promising to share any of the profits with the 99%.

Serena Williams Launches Her Own Nail Polish Line

Tennis champ Serena Wiliams is well-known for her on-the-court style, including her freshly painted nails. Now, Williams has started her own line of nail polish - Glam Slam - with OPI which will include 12 new designs.

The polishes come in four different packs, which represent the world's four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Serena, 29, has won every major title in tennis. Speaking of her nails, she said:

“I love doing my nails before I am out on court. I love to look as glam as I can.”

The Wimbledon-inspired set includes purple polish, silver glitter, silver lacquer, and a silver glitter top coat. The US Open-inspired pack features red polish and gold glitter, while the Australian Open set features green polish with a black shatter top coat. The French Open selection features a pink polish with red shatter top coat and a gold lacquer plus white shatter top coat.

Serena's line of nail colors have been designed in collaboration with OPI International OPI chief Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said :

“It’s been wonderful to work with Serena. She has a passion for nails and knows how to make a fashion statement.”

Abercrombie & Fitch Willing to Pay Jersey Shore Cast to Stop Wearing its Clothes

Abercrombie & Fitch is none too pleased that the cast of Jersey Shore actually likes and wears their clothes. Instead of .it being a positive, the clothing company worries that the "association with our brand could cause signficiant damage to our image." So, they're willing to pay the cast to stop wearing their clothes.

Specifically, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is a fan of the brand and has been seen wearing it.

Abercrombie added:

"We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans."

Designers Rush to Copy Kate's Royal Wedding Gown

While most of us were watching the Royal wedding this week in awe, fashion designers were paying careful attention to the dress that Kate Middleton was wearing. Brides-to-be who fell in love with Kate's gown will pleased to learn that designers watching took detailed notes and hurried sketches in a frantic rush to create mass-produced versions that will hit stores as early as late June.

If you can't wait the four weeks it will take to get the knock-off version, David's Bridal was already touting a strapless look from Oleg Cassini paired with a lacey bolero jacket on its website as the already available version of the knockoffs that will hit their stores in September.

Those eying up Kate's jewelry will be able to pre-order knockoffs of earrings on QVC as early as Monday night. The piece will sell for under $60 and will be created by Kenneth Jay Lane, and will be available to shoppers in two months.

Lily Allen Launches a Fashion Line

According to Women's Wear Daily, British singer Lily Allen has a new line of clothing in the works. She's teaming up with her sister, Sarah Owen, for a new collection focused on vintage-inspired garments.

The line will be called "Lucy in Disguise", the same name as their vintage shop located in London's Convent Garden district. Reportedly, the new line was designed with a fictional clotheshorse named Lucy in mind.

At a press conference, Allen explained:

"(Lucy's) a time-traveling fashionista, who's inviting you to explore her wardrobe. It's a great opportunity to play with the character."

Included in the collection are many types of dresses inspired by several different decades. The dresses will hit stores in June, and will retail from $175 to $630. In the U.S., they'll be available on shopbop.com. In the U.K. they'll be available at the Lucy in Disguise store, lucyindisguiselondon.com, Harvey Nichols and other international shops.

Jessica Simpson Adds New Prom Dress Collection to Her Billion Dollar Empire

Jessica Simpson might act like a dumb blond, but she's at least smart enough to have hired someone to help her make the right business decisions. Jess just announced that she's expanding her billion fashion empire to include prom dresses.

Simpson's prom collection will be available at David's Bridal and will feature an assortment of long, short, and ball gown dresses. They will range in price from $139 to $229.

In a statement, Jessica said:

“Inspired by the fabulous designer gowns I’ve worn to red carpet events, my affordable collection is designed to fit and flatter a variety of body types and help girls achieve their own red carpet style for Prom.”

Heidi Klum Quits Job as Victoria's Secret Model After 13 Years

Longtime Victoria's Secret model Heidi Klum has announced that she's leaving the lingerie company after 13 years. As the "Head Angel" and one of the most recognizable faces of the brand, Klum has decided it's time to move on.

Klum said:

"All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria's Secret. It has been an absolutely amazing time."

With Klum now out of the picture, the "Head Angel" slot is open. The Daily Mail reports that Alessandria Ambrosio and Adriana Lima are in the running to take over, as Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are both pregnant. Although less likely, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Candice Swanpoel still have a shot at it.

While walking the runway is now out of the picture for the near future, Klum will be keeping herself busy by hosting "Project Runway" and working on her new activewear collection for New Balance.

Lady Gaga Signs Deal to Launch Her Own Perfume

There are plenty of people out there who have tried to mimic Lady Gaga's unique sense of style, especially when her tour rolls into town. Well now you'll soon be able to smell like Gaga too. According to Women's Wear Daily, Lady Gaga has signed a long-term contract with Coty Inc. to release a fragrance in Spring 2012.

Stephen Mormoris, senior VP of global marketing in the Coty Beauty division, called her a "phenomenon" and a "fascinating cultural force" who can change the beauty market.

Thus far, the title of her perfume hasn't been released, so stay tuned.
