Pentatonix at the Blossom Music Center on September 13, 2018
Echosmith opened the show for Pentatonix. Unfortunately, the sound system was not great during their performance.
Throughout the evening Pentatonix performed current songs as well as tracks from the very beginning of their career. It’s hard to tell if fans were more excited to hear new music or their old favorites. The energy and vocals were amazing the entire evening.
Kevin Oluwole from nearby Kentucky is the creator of celloboxing. Celloboxing is when he plays the cello and beat boxes at the same time. Kevin gave an amazing solo performance that blew the crowd away. Such an experience to witness this performance.
Of course, everyone was waiting for the most popular song of all, Hallelujah. The audience set the ambience with lights from their cell phones swaying back-and-forth which brought everyone to their feet. It was beautiful.
There were many children in the audience who are actually studying Pentatonix in school. Public school music classes are currently using the group as an example in their studies.
It was nice to see such a variety of ages amongst the audience. It was a beautiful evening for everyone in attendance.
