Best Happy Hour in Cleveland – Top Spots in and Around Downtown

Happy Hour in Cleveland is a time where dreams come true. Tears of joy flow down the cheeks of thousands during this time of day. There is a formidable demographic who plan their existence around Happy Hour. There have been numerous elections on all levels of government that have been decided by this influential group of Clevelanders. Many fortunes have been established or lost by people who have succeeded or failed to appease this mighty population. In short, Happy Hour is vital here.

There are many places with amazing Happy Hours. Abby and I had a hard time making our selections. Many factors such as drink and food specials, venue, location, duration of Happy Hour and overall quality are key. Other indicators such as staff, service, and atmosphere were weighted significantly in our final evaluation. In the end, The Cleveland Leader approved our list. We are confident that each of these spots will enhance your Happy Hour experience in Downtown Cleveland.

Blue Point Grille

Consistently rated one of the top restaurants in Cleveland, Blue Point Grille has one of the most critically acclaimed Happy Hours in the region. Seafood lovers find it impossible to resist 6 blue point oysters for $8 and $6 mussels.

Bistro 185

An esteemed member of the collective known as the Cleveland Independents, Bistro 185 has been a blessing to the North Collinwood neighborhood. Their Happy Hour has brought people from all sides of town over to their establishment. Diverse selections such as calamari, smoked duck, goat cheese deviled eggs, and outstanding drink specials have proven to be an effective lure for new and loyal customers.

Firehouse Grille and Pub

Known for their great wings, drinks specials and exemplary service, The Firehouse Grille, and Pub continues to be a landmark for Lake County residents and visitors new to the Willoughby area.  From 3-6pm many items are at a reduced price in addition to their daily specials.  Thursday all you can eat ribs is my personal favorite.

Bahama Breeze

Delicious Caribbean cuisine and an Island atmosphere should be more than enough to draw a decent Happy Hour Crowd right? The wonderful folks at Bahama Breeze do not think so.  This must be why they have half-price appetizers,  $5 specialty drinks and $2 off their award-winning chicken wings.  Then again, in Cleveland, it is best to put your best foot forward.
