Best Dance Clubs in Cleveland – Top Nightlife Spots Downtown
Cleveland has a vibrant nightlife. In addition to numerous top-rated restaurants and bars, The Land has some outstanding clubs to dance the night away, listen to live entertainment, meet with friends, crash and burn with horrid pick up lines(for those who still engage people personally as too many of us have our heads in our cellphones) and chill after a week of working hard in the city where LeBron famously and truthfully stated “Nothing is given, everything is earned”.
Abby went out of town this past weekend so I was able to do a tour of the best night clubs in the city for “research” to compose this article for The Cleveland Leader. There is a lot that separates a good club and a GREAT club. Good food, strong drinks, friendly staff, awesome DJ, beautiful club-goers and security. After taking my Visa and Discover cards to uncharted territory, I was able to find the best night clubs that Cleveland has to offer. That being said, I am putting all of this on my expense report as the bottle service, cocktail shrimp and buffalo wings were work related expenses.
Seriously…Abby is going to kill me when these statements come in.
Vault
If you want an upscale experience in one of America’s most distinctive venues, Vault is the place for you. Located in an old bank vault, you will be treated to some of the most decadent cocktails and appetizers in the midwest. Their weekly programming includes bourbon tasting, executive mixers and live jazz in addition to exclusive events every month.

Take 5 Rhythm and Jazz Tapas Lounge

In addition to having multiple levels of clubs, rooftop patio and an impressive martini list, The Velvet Dog has fantastic weekly and monthly programming for club goers and good food.

It seems whenever a Best of Cleveland list is compiled, Tomo finds a way to be a part of the list or at least part of the conversation. With five levels of food, dancing and lounge areas, Tomo is a one stop shop for dinner and dancing.
