Dante’s Inferno Pizza Review

The upscale, trendy pizza place you’ve been dreaming of. Another great restaurant by famed Cleveland chef, Chef Dante, is Dantes Inferno Pizza. It’s clear that the team really focuses on creating, traditional craft pizzas from recipes that have been the family for generations. This is definitely one of Cleveland’s most popular newer places. Regulars love it thanks to the generous portions, reasonable prices and delicious food.

While it does have pizza in the name, it is so much more than that. People love the traditional Italian dishes and the extensive drink menu. It has all the ingredients for a perfect night out with friends.

The service is very customer-focused. You can tell as soon as you walk in that they truly care about your overall experience. There is likely going to be a wait, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend evening, so you may want to arrive earlier rather than later. Once you are seated, you will have a knowledgeable waiter or waitress that will be able to discuss every dish on the menu in detail if you need it. Additionally, they can help you decide on which drink will compliment your meal best, if you’re struggling with what to order there as well.

People love their pepperoni rolls appetizer for $10, it’s the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of the meal. The 10” handcrafted pizzas range from $11 to $16 and come with a great variety of toppings! Fan-favorites include: “Inferno” (kalamata olives, hot peppers, pepperoni, sausage, chili flakes, basil) and the unique, “Spaghetti & Meatballs” (which they say is: grandma’s Sunday supper on a pizza).

For drinks, they offer a nice range of cocktails and wine (both red and white). Wine is $7.50 to $13 per glass and $28 to $49 per bottle. All cocktails are $10. People love the “Hemingway Daiquiri” (Don Q Silver Rum, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, lime, grapefruit), “The Godfather” (Amaretto di Saronno, Dewars, rocks) and the “Ferrari” (Fernet Branca, Campari, orange), just to name a few.

The location is in a great spot; it resides in the heart of the Flats district. It is neighbors to Punch Bowl Social and Coastal Taco which can be stiff competition for them, but they are definitely the favorite Italian cuisine restaurant in the area.

Overall, this is a great place to kick back with friends on the weekend, whether it just be for drinks or a full meal, you will be sure to be satisfied thanks to the great options and friendly staff. It’s great if you find yourself in the Flats or wanting to bar hop after dinner.

Dante’s Inferno has two locations: the Flats and and a stand at Progressive Field. The Flats location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 11 pm and Friday and Saturday 11 am to 2 am.

Stop in at the Flats location at 1059 Old River Rd. Cleveland, OH 44113. For more information, call the restaurant at (216) 523-1504 .
