What is the Difference Between Ground Beef and Chuck?

When some people think of the word “hamburger”, they’re thinking of ground beef, while some other people are actually talking about ground chuck. Believe it or not, there are a lot of different types of beef cuts, and there are many that can even come in “ground” form; ground steak, ground round, ground chuck, ground chuck, etc. the list goes on and on. When they talk about ground chuck, you need to know that this is a very tender and fatty portion of meat that is primarily made from the front shoulders of a cow. By all means, no, ground beef doesn’t mean that it’s bad.
