Are Vaginal Detox Pearls Effective and Safe?

There is a new marketing pearl that has been circulating around the internet – the vaginal detox pearl. Wait, what? Yes, you heard that right. These are said to help others when it comes to detoxifying your body inside and out, and they are made of a medicinal herb combination that many people haven’t heard of until recently. They also say they can help aid in things like fertility, and hormonal imbalances.

Is there scientific proof about these doing all of this? No. However, many users claim that they work. They contain herbs like motherwort, angelica, borneol, rhizome, and Osthol. In this guide, we’re going to see if they work based on popular research.

Are they Just Herbs?

No matter what brand you get, you’re getting the basic detoxifying herbs in almost all of them. They’re also known as Yoni Pearls, and the company that makes these are able to ease all of your infections and help make it a lot better down there.

Of course, serious infections will still need special treatment by your OBGYN, and it won’t get rid of an STD. However, other toxifying agents that cause odor, discomfort, and abnormal hormones have been said to all be alleviated when it comes to using these pearls.

How Long Do You Leave a Pearl In?

This is a common question, and they state that you should take three of these and insert them inside of you, then leave them in their for 72 hours. They are a primarily holistic medicine, but for those firm believers, this actually works! You do need to be careful though, because toxic shock syndrome (commonly associated with tampons) can actually happen to anyone.

Does This Mean I’ll Get TSS?

We cannot say that you can’t get toxic shock syndrome by putting something down there. However, most importantly, what you do need to know, is that TSS is actually caused by a certain staph infection that causes it. You can literally get TSS if you have this staph infection, even on a wound that is packed with gauze on your body, so you should have nothing to worry about in most cases.

Why the Big Debate?

This is a humongous debate, because of the holistic properties of the herbs themselves. While almost any medical doctor won’t recommend it, these herbs have been used in ancient times. Some people who use these even recommend not using it for the whole 72 hours, and definitely not while you sleep, but you can wear them throughout the day.

Conclusion

Okay, so you probably don’t want to put something foreign inside of you, we get that. But if it is a natural way that you can actually increase fertility and achieve some general health and wellness, is it that bad? Everyone has said for years that Ginseng has no nutritional value, but it is proven to do wonders. CBD (cannabidiol) is not regulated and acclaimed by the FDA yet, but people are seeing so many great things about it. Should you really knock them before you try these vaginal detox pearls?
