One of the nicest, high-end spots in Cleveland specializing in seafood. Complete with white tablecloths and tuxedo-wearing waiters, you will feel the luxury of the venue from the moment you walk in.
The details of this place are really what sells it. Sure, the Mallorca food is delicious and the wait staff is kind, but you can find those qualities in a lot of other places. What sets Mallorca apart is their attention to detail and overall willingness to make sure their customers not only have a great meal but have a great experience.
It is not uncommon for the waiters to speak multiple languages, so if you speak another language, speak up! The staff is always interacting with their guests and always available to help pick between the multiple options that all just sound too good to pass up.
The food stems from the culture in Portugal and Spain and they have truly created a space that cohesively jives with the food creating an all-around experience. Some fan-favorites from the menu include the “Paella Valenciana” (Shell Fish Casserole in a Saffron Rice w/ Sausage & Chicken), the classic, “Lobster Ravioli in a White Cream Sauce” and the “Ternera Marsala” (Veal Scallopini w/ Fresh Mushrooms in a Marsala Wine Sauce).
In the warmer months, they have patio seating and a designated menu to go with it. This menu is a much smaller menu with prices ranging from $8 to $17. It features popular favorites like the “Shrimp and Avocado Salad” (Shrimp, Avocado, Fresh Diced Tomatoes, Bermuda onions, Tossed with a Lemon Cilantro Vinaigrette) for $12, and the “New York Strip Steak Sandwich” (Topped With Sautéed Mushrooms, Onion and Melted Mozzarella Cheese) for $10. This menu is offered 11:30 am to 7 pm in the summer months.
While their menu options are incredible, many have suggested really waiting to decide until after you hear the daily specials. These dishes are not included in the menu and are available in limited quantities, so be sure to take advantage of them when you can.
This is a great place to come with friends and family for amazing food and sparkling conversation, all the while enjoying a beautiful view of the Cleveland skyline. Sitting near the dividing line of the Warehouse District and the Flats make this a great spot no matter where the not may take you. The thoughtful details of this restaurant are what will have you coming back again and again.
Mallorca is open every day. Monday through Thursday they are open for lunch and dinner from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm. Friday and Saturday they are open from 11:30 am to 11:30 pm. They are open from 1 pm to 10 pm on Sunday.
