Playhouse Square, the second largest theater district in the country (only to be beaten out by Broadway in New York) is home to Marble Room Steaks, an upscale steakhouse that is the perfect after-show stop.
Marble Room is open Monday through Thursday 11:30 am – 10 pm, 11:30 am – 11 pm on Friday, 5 pm – 11 pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday. Reservations are recommended to the volume of business after the shows end.
They also offer a great space to host private events or parties all year-round and we all know how Clevelanders love to party. The beautiful interior will definitely be a highlight. It features six lovely spaces. Some rooms that hold 8 people all the way up to rooms that can handle 130. They truly can hold any event that you need with ease. They all have an elegant atmosphere that will make you feel like you have gone back in time to the 1930’s! The architecture is beautiful and will be sure to be a talking point at any and all events that occur in the facility.
Currently there is no dress code required, although most people do tend to wear at least business casual attire. This is not the place to wear your brand new Cavs gear. Due to this, as you may have guessed the price will be a bit higher at Marble Room Steaks than some of its neighbors.
The high cost is a small price to pay to experience the beautiful architecture and delicious food. The menu is split up into coursed meals both for lunch and dinner. Lunch spans from $40 to $58 per person and features two courses and dessert. Dinner on the other hand, has two larger courses and dessert ranging from $85 to $115 per person. Alternatively, if you have a large party of 35 or more, you can order the dinner buffet which offers a two entrees, two sides, and 1 salad option for $95 or you can upgrade that to 3 entrees, 2 sides and 2 salads for $115.
If you are not feeling an entire meal, they also have a large list of appetizers to pick from. Best-sellers include the Oyster Rockefeller, the Mini Lobster Roll, the Chicken Kabob, Mushroom, Tomato, Onion, Lemon-Herb, and the Fried Brussel Sprouts. Another pre-meal choice is the extensive selection of sushi. They have classic sushi as well as poke bowls, perfect for a quick bite before the main course arrives.
Overall, Marble Room is a great choice for events or special occasions with its large spaces that can be rented out and its great food options. It may have “steaks” in the name, but this restaurant has so much more to offer than just steak. A great place for a quick bite and a drink or the full out dinner with multiple courses for a night to remember.
