Red, The Steakhouse – Downtown Cleveland Ohio Restaurant
The high-end, five-star steakhouse you have been longing for. Red features some of the best steaks in Ohio and is truly a great place to spend time with loved ones. The restaurant chain has two locations in the greater Cleveland area, one in Miami, one in Indianapolis and another in Pittsburgh.
Red has crafted an establishment that really focuses on the quality of their food as well as the quality of their service. They really do want to exceed their customer’s expectations and they make that clear every time you visit.
They are open for lunch and dinner every day apart from Saturday where they only have dinner and Sunday, when they are closed all day. Lunch is served from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. They then open for dinner at 5 pm and remain open until 10 pm Monday through Wednesday, and until Friday and Saturday they stay open until 12 am.
The lunch menu is actually quite large for a steakhouse. “Lemon Garlic Shrimp” (Gulf Shrimp, Crushed Garlic, Sliced Lemon, White Wine, Crostini), “Red’s Antipasti Plate” (Peppers, Tomatoes, Piave Vecchio, Parmigiano Reggiano, Calabrese Salami, Prosciutto) are some of the best-seller appetizers on the lunch menu.
They also a large range of salads like the “Roasted Bell & Evans Chicken Salad” (Airline Breast, Baby Kale, Dried Cranberries, AR Cheddar, Cranberry Bread Croustads, Spicy Pecans, Red Wine Shallot Vinaigrette) and the “RED “House” Salad” (Baby Greens, Candied Walnuts, WFF Goat Cheese, RED Raspberry Vinaigrette). They also have six great sandwiches to pick from that are all served with a choice of chips, fries, Little House Salad or Little Caesar Salad.
The menu features some of the best steak around. All of your favorites including: 16 oz. Ribeye, 14 oz. NY Strip and 8 oz. Filet Mignon with great options for toppings and sauces to make it your perfect steak.
They also have a wonderful selection of delicious seafood. Customers love the “Whole Maine Lobster,” the “Ahi Tuna Tataki,” the “Fish Du Jour,” and the “King Crab.”
Other favorites on the menu are the “Free Range Veal Chop” (Broiled, Milanese and Parmigiana), the “Bell and Evans Chicken Breast” (Brined and Roasted), the “Free Range Veal Marsala” (Mushrooms, Marsala and Demi-Glace) and the “New Zealand Lamb Rack” (Double Cut and Roasted).
The beauty of the place is something to be noted. Featuring wonderful hardwood floors in a large dining room complete with a floor-to-ceiling wine wall, there is clearly more than just steak on the management’s mind. They also offer private dining which is perfect for business meetings or private parties.
Red, The Steakhouse is a great place to come together for special occasions. It may be a little pricier than your usual spots, but it is truly worth it. From the high-quality food and beautiful atmosphere, it makes the perfect location for an evening to remember.
