Shania Twain Concert Review – June 16, 2018

It has been quite some time since Cleveland had a visit from Shania Twain. It’s actually been quite some time since she has been active in the music industry.

Suffering from an illness (Lyme disease) and going through personal issues such as divorce (from her cheating ex, Matt Lange) would most likely be the reason for this country superstar to have been MIA for so long.

Fans old and new made their way to Quicken Loans Arena to see her on June 16th, 2018. It seems like Shania is a down to earth person who fans just adore no matter what the circumstances.

Twain currently has a new album out titled “Now”. This is her fifth studio album and her first album in 15 years following her album “UP!” in 2002. “Twain has named Now as her most personal album and described its theme as “going from lost to found, from feeling sad to happy.”

I can only imagine how excited fans are to see her make this come back. She filled Quicken Loans Arena and you could feel the excitement.

The stage was set for a superstar. Large cubes with screens displayed graphics and photos throughout the evening. At one point during the show, Twain performed on top of the highest cube. While attached to wires Shania flew over fans continuing to sing her heart out.

She opened the show with “Life’s About to Get Good”. The setlist included many all-time favorites like “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, “Any Man of Mine”, “You’re Still the One”, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under”.

Of course, the crowd also heard new songs such as ”Swingin with My Eyes Closed”. The evening included a 19-song set list with a 2-song encore. A show worth a 20-year wait!
