XO Prime Steaks – Cleveland Ohio Restaurant
One of the most notable steakhouses in Cleveland and for good reason. Being one of the higher-end restaurants in the city, it is perfect for that special occasion you have been planning for.
It is important to note that proper attire is required upon admittance, so plan accordingly. XO is only open for dinner 5 pm – 11 pm Monday through Thursday, 5 pm – 12 am Friday and Saturday and 4 pm – 10 pm Sunday. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant tends to fill up quite quickly.
Complete with a full bar and a large space for table dining, the beautiful modern interior will definitely be part of the experience. Located right in the heart of the Warehouse District, the beautiful skyline views will make the night that much better.
Surprisingly, they offer a great selections for vegetarians. From great apps and sides to decadent salads like the “Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Napoleon” (Roasted Beets, Arugula, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Avocado, Blood Orange Balsamic Reduction) and the “Grilled Romaine Caesar Salad” (Oven Roasted Tomatoes, Slivered Garlic, Foccacia Crouton, Caesar Dressing).
Moving on to the most important – the steak! There is no shortage of steak options at XO. Everything from the “Bone in Filet” (12 oz. Center Cut) and the “Porterhouse” (24 oz) to the fan-favorite, the “New York Strip” (12 oz.18 oz.) is on the extensive menu. They also a selection of toppings: “Crab Oscar” (Crab Meat, Bearnaise, Asparagus), “Lobster Oscar” (Lobster Claw Meat, Bearnaise, Asparagus), “Blue Cheese” and “Foie Gras Butter.”
In addition to the great steaks, people come for some of the amazing appetizers including the “Fried Calamari” (Cherry Peppers, Tossed in Lemon Garlic Butter, Rosemary Aioli), the “Wild Mushroom Ravioli” (Mushroom Truffle Cream Sauce, Fried Leeks), the “Chilled Seafood Platter” (Crab Legs, Jumbo Shrimp, Lobster Salad, Oysters, Trio of Sauces – offered for 2 or 4 people) and more!
In addition to this, they offer a nice spread of sauces, rubs and butters so that you can craft the perfect steak. That is the big premise of XO — to create your own steak all the while taking in the beautiful sites that the city has to offer.
To top off an already great meal, look to the dessert menu! It features everything from a “Warm Apple Turnover” to a “Hazelnut Crème Brulee.” A cup of coffee and the perfect dessert to bring the night to a perfect close.
Overall, this restaurant is perfect for all the special occasions in your life. Whether you want to rent out the whole place or just want to book a table, this spot has it all. While it does run on the higher priced side of things, the steaks, the ambiance and the staff will make it well worth your while.
